January 9th, 2007 - We fixed a major issue today! For a long time the transparency in all of the msn emotions wasn't working correctly. It would result in an ugly colored square around the image. This should no longer be a problem.

What is an Msn Emotion?
An Msn Emotion, or Msn Emoticon, in it's primary form is a graphic representation of a feeling used to convery emotion in Msn Messenger conversations. A smiley face shows that you're happy. An eye-rollin face shows disbelief. Msn Emotions now go beyond that initial definition and embody many things such as animals, symbols, inanimate objects, and people, with the simple purpose of spicing up your conversations and making them more fun.

How can I make custom Msn Emotions?

How to install Msn Emotions:
1. Right click the msn emotions and choose "save picture as" ("save images as" with Firefox).
2. Choose the hardrive location you wish to save it to then click save.
3. Open Msn Messenger.
4. Click on Tools near the top.
5. Go to "create emoticons".
6. Click on Add and follow the directions.
7. If you cannot find these options you might need a newer version of messenger.
